The Impact of EU policies on freedom of movement in Africa
The Impact of EU policies on freedom of movement in Africa
The interference of EU member states and European institutions, with huge resources at their disposal to promote and strengthen the control and closure of borders in Africa for the benefit of their security and anti-migration interests, has led in recent years to a structural change in the movement of people and its rules between the different countries and peoples of the African continent. In this conference, we will address the limitation of freedom of movement in Africa caused by the externalisation of European policies, influence and interests.
