Welcoming beyond ordinary emergency
Over the last years the reception of asylum seekers and refugees has undergone interventions that have made the overview uneven and confusing. Extraordinariness has become ordinary, determined by a constant emergency and, more often, by a intervention methods that goes beyond the real data and arrival dynamics.
The Ukrainian crisis has brought a different emergency management, through the use of an appropriate instrument such as the EU directive 55/2001, the leading role of the third sector and the implementation of tools never used before. Is it possible to learn from this unfolding experience?
