Libya:migration, impunity and shrinking space
The objective of the event is to raise awareness on the situation in Libya on the issues related to migration, but also highlighting the broader issues of the peace process and (lack of) stabilization in the country, the diffuse impunity and lack of accountability, and the shrinking space for civil society and freedom of expression. After an initial presentation of the situation by Human rights Libyan associations on the mentioned topics, there will be two roundtables to define common strategies at the level of the Italian and European parliaments and national and international civil society.”
